Marion Family chiropractic was founded in 1997 by Dr. Alicia Crabbe, a Mattapoisett native who became an RN in 1970.  She then went on to receive her Doctor of Chiropractic degree Summa Cum Laude from Sherman College of Chiropractic in South Carolina in 1980.   She began practicing chiropractic in Massachusetts in 1997 after 17 years of teaching chiropractic college students courses in biochemistry, microbiology, pathology, physiology, anatomy, and spinal anatomy.  She recently became a member of the Distinguished Board of Regents of Sherman College of Chiropractic, and is also a member of the Massachusetts Chiropractic Society, International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, and Federation of Straight Chiropractors and Organizations.

Dr. Crabbe is proficient in a wide variety of chiropractic techniques, including Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson, Toggle-Recoil, Activator, SOT, Logan, and Flexion/Distraction.  This allows her to adapt to the varying needs of her patients, who range from infants just a few weeks old to seniors in their 90's.

Since retiring, she likes to be outdoors enjoying flowers, wildlife, and birds; hiking, exploring, and traveling.
